router over heats and explodes

another router meltdown

so i modifide a new one with a fan

Likely a problem with the old one that caused it...

Likely a problem with the old one that caused it...

no
i was transfering very large files
the modom was siting on the router
it was running at a 120 F on the outside casings
so inside it was well over 140 F
they were over heating

no chance of that now
